Move over, General Hawk. There’s a new leader at the head of our G.I.Joe shelves! Remember that New Figure Reveal from Fresh Monkey Fiction & Zica Toys that we mentioned yesterday? Fresh Monkey Fiction, Remco (a division of ZICA Toys) and The Drawn Word are proud to announce a tribute to legendary creator Larry Hama. We will be launching a Kickstarter in January that will showcase Larry’s remarkable career and include a 1/18th scale action figure of Larry himself.

The campaign will include –

  • 2 Packaging variants, 1 standard and 1 limited to the Kickstarter
  • Signed rewards
  • Super secret accessory available only during the Kickstarter campaign

Falcone would like to introduce Legion XIV’s 1:18 scale project: Suits Kickstarter. The goal is to fill in some glaring holes in the world of 1:18 collecting. These figures are highly detailed and articulated and feature easy to swap parts. The Kickstarter will run from now until February 12th at 9pm central time. Funds will not be withdrawn until after the Kickstarter has ended and only if the funding goal is met. So feel free to contribute early, you can always withdraw your contribution or modify it at a later time. Falcone wants to thank you for your time and support on this project.

New Images Of Acid Rain Space Prisoner Revealed

By way of the Acid Rain World Instagram Account comes new images of an upcoming figure, the Space Prisoner! Although a teaser image was originally shared last month, this is our first look at the Space Prisoner in his full painted glory. The figure looks absolutely fantastic and from what we can tell in these images, not only is the helmet removable, but the “manipulator” gloves are as well, allowing the figure to hold weaponry, his helmet…you name it! Eagle Force Returns Metal Card Kickstarter, Packaging Art And More!

Wow, there’s a lot of news to cover on the Eagle Force Returns front, so let’s get to it!

First off, The Drawn Word is working on a limited edition Eagle Force Returns metal card set as part of the “Kickstarter Make/100” creative initiative focused on editions of 100. Look for it to launch this week. Follow The Drawn Word for more info.

Next Up, Steven Butler Studios is hard at work creating the Eagle Force Returns packaging art…You can check an early look at Stryker Jr. after the jump.

Over the weekend, the Eagle Force Returns Facebook Page was updated with “Quick & Dirty” 3D prints of the upcoming Eagle Force Cat & Hornet figures. Although these are just 3D printed figures, they look fantastic and I know I speak for many when I say I can’t wait to finally have these figures on my shelf!

Following their 3D Printed Cat and Hornet Figure Images comes another “Quick & Dirty” 3D printed image of the R.I.O.T. character Fireball from the Eagle Force Returns line, courtesy of the Fresh Monkey Fiction Instagram Page.

Eagle Force Returns Announces Monster Force Coming In 2018

Recently, the Eagle Force Returns Facebook Page shared a teaser image of a logo for an upcoming faction that we’ll see in 2018. Many have asked what the logo referenced and the team behind EFR has delivered some intel! Check it out –

We are very early on in development on this, but folks asked about the teaser we posted last weekend. This will give you more of an idea of what we have planned for 2018. Our focus is getting Eagle Force wave 1 finalized, but we are making plans for 2018 that include both Eagle Force and Monster Force. So you’ll start seeing more images for Monster Force as we get into the summer. These 2 lines are definitely related and will have some cross over characters, including some characters from the vintage Eagle Force line.

We’ll of course bring you more info as it’s received, but for now, feel free to speculate with the rest of us here on the HissTank.com forums after the break!

Fresh Monkey Fiction Reveals New Monster Force Logo And Details!

Our friends from Fresh Monkey Fiction stopped by to share something pretty awesome, the logo for their new Monster Force initiative kicking off in 2018! Excitement for the line is already high and all we’ve see so far are a pair of teaser images. Here’s a brief blurb from Fresh Monkey on what to look forward to –

There will be monsters and humans on both sides. We’ll start showing character designs toward the summer once the current Eagle Force figures are closer to production.
The teaser image shows 5 fingers gripping a pendant featuring the eye of Horus. Each finger is unique, representing a classic movie monster! I don’t know about you, but I’m all sorts of excited to see what’s in store! We’ll bring you more details as they’re received, but for now join in on the discussion already in progress after the break!

Remember not too long ago when we shared the Eagle Force Returns Metal Card Campaign brought to life by the fine folks at The Drawn Word? Well soon enough, we’ll have the opportunity to add new cards to our collection, as Eagle Force Strikes trading cards are coming our way (in the form of a campaign) in the next few weeks!
